The meetings are open to all business women from Wirral and the surrounding areas. Whether you are a working mum or a prospective mum, it doesn't matter, you are welcome to attend these women only networking events.
They will take place a various venues across Wirral from 9:30am to 11:30am to fit in with the school run. The two confirmed venues at present are Roses Tea Rooms at Ness Gardens in Ness and 7 Waves Community Radio Station in Leasowe. We are in negotiation for two further venues in Birkenhead and Ellesmere Port.
Relaxed and informal but still professional
Our aim is to introduce local business women to other local business women in a relaxed, safe and informal atmosphere. There is no need to dress to the nines for any of our events unless you want to! No standing up in front of a room full of strangers either. Our venues are chosen because they are owned by women who support what we are doing. And if you need to bring the little one then we have a crèche kindly run by Michelle from Bluey and Baloo.
New to networking?
If networking seems a little scary for you then we will partner you up with an experienced networker who will show you the ropes and help you get the best from your time. Just let us know before hand and we'll make the right introductions - nobody else needs to know. But you'll be among women who understand - we were all new to networking at some point and some of us still admit to being extremely nervous for the first few times.
So why are you coming again?
Sometimes being in business for yourself can be a lonely experience. It is confidence boosting meeting others who have been through the same struggles you have. Why women only? Women do business differently to men. Our members have something in common - they juggle work and family life.
You can improve your networking skills in a positive, friendly and safe environment with no pressure. You will get to know other local business women. This is an opportunity for you to build business relationships with local business women at your own pace.
Keeping up to date with events
We will be posting events on the Morning Mums Facebook page and compiling a mailing list to send reminders by email. If you want to be placed on the email list then just drop us a line and we'll pop you on there or sign up at the Morning Mums website. You can come off at anytime - just let us know.
